Broly." Paragus said, "I'm so sorry. Don't worry, I'll save you, I promise."
Broly was behind bars, in the palace. He had been locked up because they have noticed something very unusual about this Saiya-jin. He was too strong, he could be a killing-machine. He was huge, tall and dangerous. He had a problem, he couldn't control his powers and he has killed other people before...
King Vegeta wanted Broly killed before he got stronger and killed more of their people. Paragus pleaded King Vegeta to give them another chance, but King Vegeta was still going to kill him tomorrow. So Broly was stuck there, unable to do anything.
"All right, you've spoken to your son. Now its time for you to leave." A Saiya-jin guard said pushing Paragus out of the room.
Broly did nothing but sit on that bench for hours, staring blankly at the ground. He was cold, tired and hungry. He didn't have enough energy to escape or do anything.
It was quiet and dark in the room, he wasn't on his own though, there were two guards at the front of the cage where Broly was in. Broly was 19, he couldn't mate last year because nobody wanted to mate with him, which was a rare thing. Most Saiya-jin's always got mated at 18. There were hardly any left out.
Saiya-jin's were scared of Broly because he was so big and strong. But he was really just a quiet, shy person.
Meanwhile at the beach with Yamucha and Kakkarot...
"Your no fun..." Yamucha mumbled.
Kakkarot didn't say anything.
"Look!" Yamucha pointed at the sky, "Finally! The sunset! i've been waiting for this."
Kakkarot and Yamucha was the sunset. Yamucha shifted closer to Kakkarot and wrapped his arm around Kakkarot's shoulder. Kakkarot shrugged it off, frowning.
Yamucha chuckled, "What's the matter?" He asked.
Kakkarot didn't speak again.
Yamucha grabbed Kakkarot's face and kissed him. Kakkarot's eyes widened and he shoved Yamucha off, making him fall down on his back.
"WHAT THE HELL, YAMUCHA?!" Kakkarot screamed madly.
"Sorry... I tried to make things more romantic.." He said getting back up.
Kakkarot slapped Yamucha across the face. Yamucha's head snapped to the right, his cheek was red. He looked back at Kakkarot, slightly hurt. He touched his cheek, "Why did you do that?" He asked.
"You kissed me!" Kakkarot yelled, his cheeks flushed.
"I'm guessing you liked it with the way your blushing.." Yamucha smiled.
"No, I didn't! I don't want to kiss you! That was my first kiss!"
"Really? I don't get how your still a virgin, and you've never been kissed. Look at you! Saiya-jin's would be all over you, if it wern't for your fathers"
"Exactly! Its my dad's! They don't trust me, they never let me out alone!" Kakkarot yelled, "And I don't trust you. I'm going home now."
"What? Already?" Yamucha asked panicky, "But, didn't your dad's want you to sleep at mine for the night? Come on, stay."
"No." Kakkarot hissed. He stood up and stormed off angrily, leaving Yamucha to sit on the sand alone.
The front door slammed open and Tora and Bardock saw Kakkarot walk in, shutting the door behind him.
"Kakkarot?" Tora asked.
"Boy, why are you home? I thought I told you to stay at Yamucha's house. Your turning 18 soon and you must learn to love him before you mate." Bardock said.
"You can't force love, dad!" Kakkarot shouted and ran into his room, slamming the door behind him.
"Oh, here we go again..." Bardock sighed, "Kakkarot's such a baby..."
"Maybe Yamucha isn't the right Saiya-jin.... Kakkarot doesn't like him. Lets just let him decide on who he wants as his mate." Tora said.
"No" Bardock spat, "I know Yamucha's family, they are the only ones I can trust. Lots of Saiya-jin's lately haven't been loyal, so we can't just let him mate with whatever Saiya-jin he wants."
Tora sighed, "He's going to be miserable like this."
"At least he'll be safe...." Bardock stated.
"Yes but he won't be happy. We're supposed to do everything we can to make him happy. He's growing up now, shouldn't he be able to decide?" Tora suggested.
"No. He is still my son. Kakkarot's a rare Saiya-jin. Not many are like him..." Bardock said, "I don't want him to die or something....... End of conversation.." Then he stood up and left the room, leaving Tora alone in the lounge.
5 minutes later, Tora knocked on Kakkarot's door. "Kakkarot, its me. Can I come in?"
"No!"
"Please. I need to talk to you."
"I don't want to talk!"
Tora opened the door anyway and saw Kakkarot under the sheets.
"Kakkarot, don't be like this..." Tora sighed and sat on the bed.
Kakkarot sobbed under the sheets.
"Stop crying" Tora said sternly, "only the weak cry.
