Hello All,
For your information, the version of the antenna included in the multipass will change its version and use the MIFARE 1K 7BUID chip.
There are 2 chips on the multipass:
1. one with gold connectors stores certificates, is used for Vision Security
2. one embedded in the plastic is used for RFID identification, it is called Mifare, used for door access (this is the one evolving)
The ID used for identification will change to be a 7 bytes number.
All access and other systems using this chip must be tested for compatibility and be it necessary, modified.
Basically, the both need to be compatible with:
- the norm ISO/IEC 14443 Type A part 1-3 (Identification cards — Contactless integrated circuit(s) cards – Proximity Cards)
- either the 2 versions 7byte with unique ID (7BUID) and on 4byte Not unique ID (4BNUID)
It is important for your to test the new card on your door access system or any systems integrate with Mifare card, and give us the feedback.
Therefore, please reply to this email how many test multipass you need, before Friday, 26 Sept 2014.
