Meanwhile, Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS) added 18.69% or 74 points to end at 470 and Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) was up 17.23% or 1275 points to 8675 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI), which fell 10.00% or 44.00 points to trade at 396.00 at the close. Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk (JK:AMAG) declined 10.00% or 40 points to end at 360 and Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) was down 9.85% or 26 points to 238.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 203 to 102 and 77 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) rose to all time highs; rising 17.23% or 1275 to 8675.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.02% or 0.49 to $48.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.08% or 0.54 to hit $50.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.50 to trade at $1320.60 a troy ounce.
