INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The mission of Dodge City Community College is to provide opportunities for high quality learning and
enhance community and personal development in a student centered environment. DCCC encourages
enrollment of qualified international student as a means of enriching the campus environment.
International students who wish to attend must follow procedures outlined in order to meet admission
requirements. DCCC has been approved by the U.S. Department of Justice as a school for nonimmigrant
students.
International students are advised that the college does not provide special language training, and
employment opportunities are limited. Only the official score report from TOEFL will be accepted. A
minimum score of 500 is required for attendance (minimum score of 61 on the iBT and a minimum score
of 173 on the CB). The regular student application for admission is required.
Beginning in the Fall 2012 every student was required to bring an Apple iPad to class. DCCC is
moving the college to a 21st Century learning environment. Our minimum requirements will be an iPad
with Retina, 16 GB WiFi only which sells for $499. We highly recommend you purchase the AppleCare
extended warranty for $99. This provides a full two years of warranty and two instances of accidental
damage. We also recommend a protective cover. The iPad Mini can also be purchased for $329. More
