In summary,TiO2 nanoparticles with a large surface area of
200.2 m2 g1 are prepared through a simple hydrothermal
method.These TiO2 nanoparticles exhibit much higher photo-
catalytic activity towards the photodegradation of gaseous
benzene than DegussaP25 ,which is attributed to the high
electron–hole separation efficiency,large specific surface area
and mesoporous structure .Such TiO2 nanoparticles may also
have promising application in the fields of solar cell,renewable
clean energy, and so on.
