Dear all,
Implementation of Deloitte Audit (EMS) in this coming audit
To achieve our Global Audit 2020 strategy and aspiration to be recognized as the undisputed leader of the profession by our stakeholder, an ongoing commitment to enhance our audit quality and development our people to hold accountability for execution are the key priority for success. The implementation of Deloitte Audit, an integrated service platform that transforms audit delivery and enhance our audit quality, is the key priority in our audit in this coming year.
Resource planning and performance management measurement
To support the deployment of EMS, resource planning management and performance measurement are required to be changed to align and support such implementation.
Requirement for extra working hours
For those engagements which are required to adopt the EMS in this coming audit, and other engagements which have other business reasons (i.e. tight deadline, resource constraint, client’s request) and require additional working hours (over 8 working hours a day or working on holidays) during the interim and final audits, the request for extra working hours must be prepared by the engagement team and approved by the engagement partner with the endorsement of Audit Leader or Deputy Audit Leader before the commencement of the work. The request for extra working hours should be minimized to avoid the staff workload. The request form for extra working hours with partner approval are required for all engagements for resource booking in the stafftrak. If there is no such request form, extra working hours over 8 hours a day or working on holidays are not allowed for booking in stafftrak. The compensation on such extra working hours will be paid under the Labor Protection Law based on the approved request form. The process to request for extra-working hours and compensation reimbursement will be announced by our HR shortly. The actual hours which are over or under the hours stated in the request form must be explained and approved by the engagement partner before timesheet submission.
Engagement Performance Review and rewards
To enhance and strengthen our audit quality, the performance measurement and our rewards structure relating to performance bonus and others are subject to be changed to align with our business model and to support the audit quality and staff contribution to the firm.
If you have any questions or require any further clarification, please feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
Permsak
