This case study is not limited to showing the and results of donors' aid; it examines both results and causal relation. A case study method is therefore most appropriate.
The PRDP has been selected mainly because of its focus on creating opportunities for people's participation and ensuring accountability of government at local laval.
Different sub-methods have commonly been used with case studies, including interviews, observations, and document and record analysis.
Key documents analyzed here include the Technical Assistance Project Proposal (TAPP) and evaluation reports of the PRDS.
The author observed meetings of the Union Coordination Committee (UCC) and some village committees (VCs) at the project site.
Initially, the project was implemented in the four Unions (local government units) of Kalihati Upazilla (administrative unit): s Shahadebpur, Narandia,Salla, and Bangra .
Shahadebpur and bangra were selected randomly to conduct a survey.
Different research methods, categories of respondents, and percentage of responses have been summarized in Table I.
