The former dimension of meaning deals with two major types of meaning:
direct and indirect. Similar to other kinds of communication in languages,
‘meaning’ is always presented directly or indirectly. So, when translation
is done, the meaning in the translation should be considered as direct or indirect. This is the translator’s responsibility. The translator needs to consider whether the meaning in the source text is directly or indirectly presented by the writer. Then, the appropriate parts of language are selected, like words or phrases, as a tool to transfer the concept in the meaning appropriately.
