4. Conclusions
According to the results of the experiment, the low temperature system containing activators can be used safely in bleaching cotton fabric prior to dyeing, yet the amount of alkali and hydrogen peroxide to be used should be a little higher than the amount used for conventional high temperature bleaching. For dye uptake and smoothness, it is vital that the bleached fabric should be exposed to anti peroxidase process prior to dyeing and then to warm rinsing for the non-ionic product to be removed. This system is safe if the whiteness, yellowness and resistance strength values in 8 g/L hydrogen peroxide concentration are taken into account.
