who give us chance to training experience which have material about cadmium(Cd) accumulation in rice. Contamination of Cd in agricultural areas affect human health. Rice is wildly grown and is a staple food for majority of people in South East Asia including Thailand.
Our research employ knowledge of root biology to solve issue of Cd contamination in rice by focusing rice root anatomical traits on Thai rice that have different levels in Cd accumulation to find a good root traits.
The result will be useful for phytoremediation aspect and for reducing Cd contamination in rice grown in Cd contaminated field.
