Surface tension values (mN/m), emulsifying activity (E24, %) and biomass and
bioemulsifier concentrations (g/l) obtained with Paenibacillus sp. #510 grown at
40°C under aerobic (7 days) and anaerobic (10 days) conditions in MSS and MSS
supplemented with paraffin (5% w/v) or crude oil (5% w/v). The emulsifying
indexes were performed using n-hexadecane. The surface tension and the
emulsifying activity of MSS medium were 70.3 ± 0.4 mN/m and 0.0%, respectively.
Results represent the average of three independent experiments ± standard
