4. Conclusions
Monitoring of the widespread distribution of pesticides in
soils requires the availability of fast, efficient and robust multiresidue
analytical methods. The SPLE methodology outlined in
this work is suitable for multi-residue analysis of OCPs with
integrated clean-up. Applying this methodology gives increased
possibilities of automation with no extra clean-up step needed,
leading to substantial time and solvent savings as well as less
sample manipulation compared to PLE with off-line clean-up.
