To study the effects of organic fertilizers and organic waste materials on Aloe vera yield and growth parameters, this
experiment was conducted in 2012 in green house, in Ghasr-e-Shirin, Iran. The experimental design was completely
randomized design with three replications, nine treatments and 27 experimental pots, each one containing 6 kg soil.
Treatments included organic fertilizers and organic wastes: pigeon manure, palm waste and vermicompost, which
everyone was used in three levels: 1.5, 3 and 4.5 weight percentage equivalent to 90, 180 and 270 g/pot. One
treatment without fertilizers and organic waste material was considered as the control.
Before application of treatments, samples were collected from the organic wastes to measure their nutrient content;
results are represented in Table 1.
