Good night Yuva.
I think you will be fine. I do have my moments like anyone, and I am sure you will have your moments when I am trying to learn Thai. I am also sure we will both exhibit large amounts of patience and understanding. I may have a small disadvantage with you learning English. I have to work with many different people all learning English as their second language. So I am pretty fair at explaining everything I say. Just remember, if I say something you do not understand, let me know. I can't fix, what I do not know about. As for me and Thai, the software isn't too bad. $200.00 US. Brooke does not like it, but she picks up language like there is no tomorrow. I am a bit harder. And I will only use it to get started. Once I get a small foundation, I will practice on Meaw! Hopefully by the time we have our next visit after May, I should be able to say hello without making you cringe!
It would appear the film industry has been looking elsewhere since the beginning of the political unrest in Thailand beginning in 2013. Shooting feature films, commercials and TV shows is down and is not expected to rise until after the political strife has ended. There is also increased pressure from Vietnam and Indonesia trying to introduce themselves to the market place and a new studio being built in Malaysia. So if the industry is to recover, it will need a lot more help from the current government. On a more positive note, the auto industry in Thailand is hoping to recover from a difficult year. Toyota and Ford are both staying and standing behind the future for Thailand. Assuming the government can get the economy running a little more smoothly, the auto industry should be able to recover and prosper.
Pleasant dreams and sleep well. I think about you always.
Hugs & kisses.
Randy
