3.5. MLVA-typing
The number of pigs that tested positive for M.hyopneumoniae with MLVA is presented in Table 3. In all herds, the highest prevalence was found at 14 weeks of age. None of the pigs in the four herds tested positive at 6 and 10 weeks of age. For herds 2 and 3, the pigs that tested positive at slaughter age were also positive at 14 weeks of age. Only in 3 pigs of herd 1, M. hyopneumoniae was detected at slaughter age for the first time.
