Hole in the Ozone Layer
The ozone in our atmosphere protects us from too much ultra-violet radiation reaching the earth. Chemical gases, like chloroflourocarbons and halons, have been released into our atmosphere from refrigerators, air conditioning systems, paint cans, and fire extinguishers. These chemical gases reduce the ozone layer and that causes skin cancer, eye problems, and immune system problems in humans.
