CONCLUSION
The hematological parameters are the most sensitive indices in monitoring the toxicity of deltamethrin at sub lethal concentrations. Since the fish are the most sensitive aquatic fauna, any little change that occurs in their living media might immediately influence their physiology. Deltamethrin is highly toxic to Channa punctatus even in very low concentration (0.075mgl-1). Therefore, it is suggested that the use of these types of pyrethroids to control agriculture pests should be judicious and controlled.
