YANGON -- Malaysia opened their 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup campaign with a come-from-behind 3-2 triumph over Cambodia, thanks to a second-half brace from captain Amri Yahyah at the Thuwunna Stadium on Sunday.
The opening goal was scored by Cambodia’s Chan Vathanaka in the 8th minute, the equaliser came in the 37th minute via Syazwan Zainon. In the second half, Vathanaka scored again to put Cambodia 2-1 up but ten minutes later in the 69th-minute things were all square when Mohd Amri scored.
Then in the 80th minute, Amri scored again to hand his side the win.
