2.7 Perforated sheet gutter – gutter cover - for prefab concrete gutter (50x30)
The size and pattern of gutter cover (stainless steel or aluminum) will be a
General Team’s choice. The gutter cover shall have openings of 5x25 mm
maximum and shall protect the gutter from the tree leafs - height defined by
contractor according to load affordings e.g.drive over resistance.
Water drainage hose shall be conncected to gutters and be situated in the soil
structure every 3m as indicated in the Details. Drainage hose will improve the
process of rain water leaching in all areas.
2.8 Screw embedded into concrete, use the epoxy type according to the drawing or
the calculation of the emgineer. Manufacturer: HILTI, Fastenic , or similar.
2.9 The usage of Fire Proofing coating must follow the regulation stricky and the
contractor must declare the certification of fire proof from the supplier and shall
be receive the approval from the General Team before making a purchasing.
2.10 Other Grating – steps and platform of outside steel staircase or similar
The size and pattern of grating (stainless steel or aluminum) will be a General
Team’s choice. The grating shall have openings of 5x25 mm maximum. Height
defined by contractor according to load affordings.
2.11 Miscellaneous metal work must follow the objective of the General Team and
receive their approval. The General Team will control the work according to the
Working Drawings, Shop Drawings, specifications, General Requirements
(Division 01-01),...
3. Criteria of metal work
3.1 Assembly and Installation
A. Installation shall comply with the Drawings, manufacturer's installation
instructions, and/or as directed by the General Team. Materials and
fabricated items shall be properly marked and match-marked for field
assembly, as necessary to facilitate installation. Insofar as practical,
fitting and assembly of items shall be done in the shop. Items that cannot
be permanently shop assembled, shall be completely assembled, match
marked, and disassembled only to the extent necessary for shipment.
B. Metalwork items shall be set accurately in their proper locations to the
lines and elevations indicated on the Drawings. The various items shall be
aligned, adjusted, leveled, and plumbed in true alignment with related and
adjoining construction within specified AISC tolerances before permanently
fastening or welding. Bearing surfaces and other surfaces, which will be in
permanent contact, shall be cleaned before assembly. Necessary
adjustments to compensate for discrepancies in elevations and alignments
shall be performed by Contractor at no additional cost to the Principal.
