This beautiful waterfall located in
the Khlong Lan National Park flows
all year round. Although this majestic fall
runs during the Hot Season, the flows
are the heaviest and most powerful
during the rainy season.
Location
The Khlong Lan National Park
encompasses much of the western forest.
In addition to many villages, this fertile
area is home to several species of
plants and serves as the headwater for
most of the creeks and rivers in this region.
As the water descends down the slope,
they eventually merge with Ping River.
For more information, you may contact the
National Park Office in Amphoe Khlong Lan.
The Khlong Lan Waterfall : Because of its close proximity to the National Park Office, it is convenient and accessible to all those who are interested in visiting. The water begins its flow from the Khlong Lan Khlong Khlung, Khlong Suan Mak Mountain Range. The five mountain creeks eventually merge and fall over the limestone cliff. At the base of the falls, the water is collected in a large pool before dropping another one hundred meters into the rocky chasm below. During the warm season, swimming in this pool is a safe relaxing way to avoid the heat. However, when the flow picks up during the rainy season it is best to stand clear.
