Provides insights and analysis for social media content and conversation
Identifies and creates content for multiple social media channels
Writes content for Nuts About Southwest blog
Benchmarks against competitors and other brands
Keeps the team abreast of emerging social media trends and technology
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
EDUCATION:
Progress towards degree with major/minor in Public Relations, Corporate/Mass Communications, or Communications related degree required.
Minimum junior status or above (60+ credits).
To be eligible, must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours).
Maintained 3.0 or above cumulative GPA.
Experience:
Part-time jobs or previous internships preferred.
Participation in trade/industry organizations, and/or school clubs such as PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) preferred.
Experience using Adobe Photoshop or InDesign or other graphic design software preferred.
Experience using social media listening/engagement/measurement tools preferred.
Proficient usage in Social Media.
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge/Work Style:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must possess clear, concise writing skills.
Must possess basic analytical skills and have a knack for numbers.
Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism.
Must have sufficient judgment to handle and resolve office administration tasks as needed.
Ability to work well with others as part of a team and meet the public.
Well-groomed appearance necessary.
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally by telephone and face to face.

PAY:
$12.00 hourly + flight privileges
