Different kinds of beverages brands, including regular and diet cola, carbonated
refreshment drinks and energy drinks were purchased from different local supermarkets
and 15 samples were analyzed using the indicated HPLC method. All measurements
were performed in triplicate. Once sample bottles were open, the drinks were degassed,
homogenized and filtered. Then each sample was filtered through a 0.45 μm syringe
filter with a 5 mL syringe. Filtered drink samples of 2 mL were 10 times diluted in
water.
