2.4. All Participants shall be required to either: (i) prove membership of an internationally recognised
gemstone industry organisation or association or (ii) prove the individual membership of its
Nominated Bidder of the International Coloured Gemstone Association (ICA). The chairperson
of the Auction Committee acting in his sole and absolute discretion, shall determine which other
organisations or associations are internationally recognised and therefore acceptable. Each
indicated membership or association shall be individually ratified by the Auction Committee.
2.5. Each Participant is allowed one (1) Nominated Bidder and up to three (3) Companions (i.e. a
maximum of four (4) persons per Participant) and who shall be nominated in accordance with
clause 2.6.
2.6. All Participants are required to submit the registration form in Appendix 1 hereto, together with
proof of membership pursuant to clause 2.4 to Gemfields, no less than ten (10) days prior to the
Commencement of the Auction.
2.7. The Auction Committee shall manage the Auction and shall have ultimate authority to make
decisions in relation to the Auction.
