3. Provide the right level of information to make a choice: Users need to understand enough
about any particular product or service to decide whether to click to find out more. They don’t
want to spend too much time jumping between a category page and unwanted product pages.
Provide too little information on a category page and users must visit the product page to decide
if they are interested. This may require an image, name, price, star rating, specification, or
more. However, it’s a delicate balancing act between enough information and a too-busy page
that’s impossible to scan. Again, usability testing can be used to identify this key information.
