have a centos 6.4 x64 minimal install as the host running Virtualbox 4.2.18 with phpvirtualbox for the management.
My issue is, i am trying to create a centos i836 minimal virtual machine with 2 cores and 2 gig of ram.
It works fine if i use 1 core, but if i change it to two i get the following error message VT-x is not available. (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX)
Hardware virtualization is not supported by my cpu and in no way am i trying to use it. I have made sure it is uticked on the VM itself.
Is there any reason why adding another core would cause it to try and use hardware virtualization?
Any help is appreciated.
