Ward (2001) also recognized the primary concern of using the constructivist approach is the timerequired to conceive and design the activities. She then followed this concern with thediscussion of the tremendous amount of ideas available on various websites and in publications. She also addressed the classroom management concerns associated with inquiry. She found “the time spent dealing with distractions [associated with inquiry]…was well worth it. This class nolonger had difficultly remembering [the material]…The understanding gained from this activityalso transferred to [other material]”(p. 95).
