We did a pretty good job, especially our defence. We defend very well. Actually, we are pretty tall team and at the net, for sure we have the height advantage. So, for us, a good defence is very important since Thailand, Japan and the other teams also have a good back-row defence. We try to improve each game.
“We performed very well. I don’t think we really did care much about the scores. We care about teamwork and team’s performance. I think our match today is quite OK, but it’s not that great. The scores are really low, but we have a large rally against the Japanese. I think they had a good defence.
“Fans expect Japan and China in the final, but we beat them today. That does not mean we are now in the final. We still have four matches to go. We need to slow down one match at a time. It does not matter how many times we play Japan or any team because if you want to win the championship, you have to win all the matches.
“If my team win the Asian Women’s Club here and I have to train them for the FIVB World Club Championship after that and at the same time I have to become the head coach of the China national team, I don’t think I will have any problem carrying the two teams because I’m still young to do that job,
