Career management is defined as a dynamic process in which individuals gather information on their own likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, and on the world of work; develop realistic career goals; develop and implement strategies to achieve these goals; and obtain feedback to promote career decision making (Greenhaus and Callanan, 1994). This study focuses on four indicators of effective career management adopted from Greenhaus and Callanan (1994): personal learning, goal setting, career strategies, and career decision making.
