prior to packaging with PPE or MAP bags inhibits berry decay as
well as or better than SO2-generating pads (Lichter et al., 2002,

dips may lose their effectiveness after 1 or 2 months of storage due
to latent or secondary infections. Ethanol vapor treatments have
an advantage over ethanol dips because they confer longer protection,
similar to that of SO2-generating pads (Lurie et al., 2006).
