AC in the present work showed maximum monolayer adsorption
capacity 273 (mg·g−1
) for lead (ΙΙ), noticeable value to the other
granular and powdered activated carbons reported in the literatures.
Various operational parameters like initial concentration, pH, time and
temperature was optimized in the lead removal process and finally
the adsorption kinetic models, equilibrium isotherms and thermodynamic
parameters were also performed and analyzed.
