Greetings. We would like to say thank you for applying for our Inha Summer School 2015.
To our regret, currently we have a situation regarding the MERS-CoV (Middle
East Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus) in Korea, about which we have
received many email inquiries.
We understand your concerns, but we would like to inform you that there have
been no reported cases in the Incheon metropolitan area, where our
university is located in. The city government and the immigration office are
keeping the public informed on the situation and are taking precautions very
carefully. Inha University is following the guidelines that the government
and health organizations have provided. We also share the guidelines with
our students, faculty, and staff, requesting them to report any symptoms.
We Koreans, including the authorities concerned and medical teams and
experts, are devoting our energy to solve this situation with the minimum
damage as soon as possible. We expect that the MERS in Korea will be
completely controlled soon. Thus, at the moment, we are not considering
the option to cancel Inha Summer School 2015; still, we are paying close
attention to the MERS situation. Any new updates on the stateof affairs
will be shared with participants of our Summer Program.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely yours,
International center, Inha University
