Several measurements of air standard and quartz standard CREU-1 were performed on this analytical procedure. For the quartz sample, after the separation and purification processes according to the steps reported by Kohl and Nishiizumi [18], pure quartz was wrapped in aluminum foil, and used to extract neon by stepwise heating in a molybdenum crucible at three different temperature steps of 600 °C, 800 °C and 1350 °C. Each heating step lasted for 30 min.
