5. Supervisory Condition: A signal to the fire alarm
panel that indicates an off–normal condition in a fire or
life safety system. Restoration of the supervisory
condition is typically needed to ensure proper function
of the fire / life safety system. Examples may include
sprinkler valve tamper supervision, water level
indicator in tank, fire pump not in automatic etc.
6. Error indicators on the fire alarm control panel
means notifications on the device that controls the
alarm signal or indicates problems with the connection
or functionality of the fire alarm system, such as:
a. Faulty codes;
b. Silent indicators; or
c. No display that the fire alarm is ready for use.
