Numerous studies were developed in order to identify and describe the bullwhip effect. In our previous publications [4, 5] the literature review about related work regarding BE from its first observations including causes and consequences has been presented [6-8]. In our latest publica- tion regarding BE the literature review about simulation modelling of supply chain has been presented [1]. In this paper we have summarised several studies from the last five years.
Disney reviewed a range of methodological approaches for solving the bullwhip problem [9]. Measures for the bullwhip are given. Different types of supply chains are described and as a whole it is a general overview including also replenishment policies, forecasting techniques, lead times, costs etc.
