Pure ibuprofen powder (160 mg) was weighed into a 100 mL volumetric flask containing about 70 mL of HPLC grade methanol and sonicated for 20 min. The resultant solution was allowed to settle and made up to volume. A 5 mL aliquot of the solution was diluted to 100 mL to get a concentration of 80 μg/mL. The standard solution was run on the HPLC. Six injections were run for the standard to determine the system suitability and were calibrated to see the correlations and relative standard deviation [11].
