As I returned from spring break, greeting me was not snow, but it had been replaced by a murky liquid – slush.
I was still gloomy from leaving home, yet again. Nonetheless I was eager to spend my last two months here.
It was jammed packed with ridiculous adventures – for example, when we went to the lake. It was stupid. It was a long hike into the woods and none of us knew the way. We were trying to find a lake that we had only heard of. After a long time, we finally found our way to the murky lake. I crouched down in front of the lake and touched the water. The cold jolted through my fingertips; it was freezing. I suddenly felt pressure on my back. Before I knew it I was screaming; I was falling in the water.
“Aaaah!” I hit the water face-first. It was Julien who had pushed me in. It was freezing and I was screaming.
“Hah!” Julien exclaimed. He extended his hand to pull me up. I took it and pulled him in as well. It was a good day.
