How to use present simple and present progressive * in one sentence.
I usually work in Bangkok, but today I am working in our Chiang Mai office.
I usually drive my car to work, but this week I am taking the train.
I usually shop at Robinson, but today I am shopping at Big C.
These sentences are good examples of how a native speaker will explain what he usually does (using present simple) and also what he is doing now, or in the near future (using present progressive).
* by the way, in The UK we say present continuous not present progressive.
