Responsibility:
• Constructing data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.
• Updating standard costs in the bills of materials.
• Validating the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end closing process.
• Working with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory.
• Coordinating physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Investigating cycle counting variances and resolving any related issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in costing for a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in other accounting functions (A/P, Fixed Asset, etc.).
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work with cross functional teams.
• Able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
• Possession of strong coordination, communication, analysis, leadership and time management skills and a dedication and commitment to work.
