- Manage transportation operation including administration works to meet agreed service level
of client.
- Manage company’s truck fleet, transportation subcontractors and ensure their performance
meets standard operation and maintain cost effectiveness.
- Manage P&L of the department and ensure that all invoices and invoice process are accurate.
- Conduct meeting specifically on transportation initiatives and problem solving.
- Analyze and plan routing schedule and optimize trucks usage based on customer’s requirement.
- Managing delivery activities related to dispatching, routing and tracking transportation vehicles
- Managing the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is done in a proper manner
and on time
- Implementing schedule and policy changes
- Monitoring operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and
procedures
- Coordinating with the warehouse team to develop and maintain an effective interface between
warehouse operations and transport operations
• Lead the operational team and day-to-day operational management of customer sites to achieve operational objectives.
• Achieve agreed safety goals, in line with annual site safety plan, or real time changes in safety performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment, manage and mitigate site risks and ensure overall site compliance is in line with company, client and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all hazards and risks are identified, completion of incident reports, evaluated and controlled in accordance with safety policy and procedures and any client requirements.
• Responsible for the financial performance and effectively manage staff performance, site maintenance and Inventory Management & discretionary costs for the client.
• Implement initiatives that ensure cost containment, maximize profit and meet budget and customer objectives.
• Key contact for customer on site related matters as required and meet regularly with the client to manage site performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Meet with customer to discuss financial & operational performance, opportunities for improvement and key challenges.
• Participate in regular board of review and respond to customer concerns or requests with a benchmark of resolving non-complex issues within own control within 24 hours.
• Management of all industrial relations & compliance performances for the site.
• Actively seek opportunities to develop new or expand existing customer relationships across Thailand.
