coupled with subsequent vigorous growth of shoots and plantlets under 70% red and 30% blue LEDs
means that these methods are ideal for plant germplasm exchange
between remote laboratories or greenhouses. More importantly,
plant growth and morphogenesis were generally improved under
the optimal LED mixtures as compared with conventional fluorescent lamps that are most commonly used as the primary light
source in plant tissue culture and encapsulation. Red and blue
mixed LEDs are a highly effective light source for strawberry culture
systems that use encapsulation technology.
