The material has a specific area of 0.97m2/g by BET
analysis and a specific porosity of 3103 cm3/g by BJH analysis (these techniques are based on nitrogen sorption and desorption measurements). As the externalsurface area calculated on the base of the curve of the size distribution is as low as 0.008 m2/g, we can conclude that the reactive sites of the studied aggregate are mainly located in a kind of binternal surfaceQ. Its absolute density measured by helium pycnometer
analysis is about 2.595 g/cm3.
