The use of modified SOX/Fe3O4@GNPs/Au electrode has resulted
into an improved analytical performance of the sulfite biosensor
in terms of low response time (2 s), lower/better detection limit,
0.15 M (S/N = 3), higher storage stability (120 days), wider linear
range (0.5–1000) and no interference by various interferrants
compared to earlier biosensors. Based on these results, this composite
could also be exploited for the improvement of analytical
performance of other biosensors.
