In conclusion, this study applied the AirQ software and
the approach proposed by the WHO to provide quantitative
data on the impact of PM10, SO2, NO2 and O3 on
the health of people living in a certain area. The results
are in line with those of other investigations and, despite
the limitations, which are in common to similar studies,
indicate that this method offers an effective and easy
tool, helpful in decision-making.
