Thailand has been released Eastern Sarus Crane back to nature by the Royal Forest Department since 1990. They have 3 pairs of Sarus Crane chicks from the International Cranes Foundation (ICF) in 1984 and has reared until to adulthood at the Bangpha Waterbird Breeding Center, Chonburi province before expanding to the reintroduction project at Phukheaw wildlife Sanctuary, Chaiyaphum province.
