OfficialAOCS Methods (1990)were used for the determination
of peroxide value (PV, Method Cd 8-53), while the p-anisidine value
(p-AV, Method 2.504) and conjugated dienes (CD, Method 2.505)
were determined byIUPAC methods of analyses (1987). The
method ofBudowski et al. (1950)was used for the determination of
sesamol. Phenolic compounds were determined using the
FolineCiocalteau reagent. The results were expressed as gallic acid
equivalents (Gutfinger, 1981; Satue, Huang, & Frankel, 1995).
