After evaluating the effects on individual quality parameters, a
LDA was applied to obtain a complete perspective about the effects
of MAP on the overall postharvest quality of fresh-cut watercress.
The basic purpose of this discriminant analysis was finding the
packaging atmosphere (categorical dependent variable) that
maintained physicochemical, nutritional and antioxidant profiles
(set of quantitative independent variables) of the non-stored
control samples throughout the storage time.
