Accurate investigation and diagnosis of all diseases is
undisputable. Medical Imaging is not only central to
diagnostic processes but also with treatment planning and
monitoring of malignant disease [1]. Medical Imaging has
undergone a series of revolutionary changes with advances in
science and technology in order to meet the needs of health
care providers. Medical Imaging curricula have been
increasingly established in many Biomedical Engineering
(BME) programs in the United States. Medical Imaging
classes provide students with a broad view of an integration
of different technologies applied to biology and medicine.
Understanding the principles of medical imaging may also
benefit students in other engineering or science majors in
selecting appropriate imaging modalities in their research.
We have developed interactive online medical imaging
teaching applications. Our goal is to establish internet
accessible interactive learning applications which are
