kindly note staff taking leave is required to inform your direct supervisor. this is quite a very general manner in which every single one, especially senior staff, should have known. should anyone argue this, please kindly share your opinion in public place by replying this email. I believe your opinion is worth listening.
btw, leaving with inappropriate manner can possibly be considered as leave without pay, in case you might not know.
P.S. I come from the place where everyone is well educated and mature. notifying things that everyone already know is something rude from where I am from. Then sorry for being rude.
