Is it possible to mak our planet greener?
A lot of people will need to work hard to make it happen - countries, governments, families, even you and me.
Every person in the world will need to help.
A new idea
You have 75 billion dollars to spend on the world's problem over four years.
What do you wiyh it?
Where do you begin?
What is the best way to spend the money?
In 2004 a group of people met in Copenhagen in Denmark to talk about this.
They came from all over the world, and many of them were experts who knew about money, healty, and water.
These talks were called the Copenhagen Consensus, and after a week the group showed their answers to the world.
IN 2008 they did the same thing again. What was at the top of their list?
The group said that 60 million dollars will buy Vitamin A for 140 million children in the poorest countries of the world.
This will help themto be stronger and healthier; without Vitamin A,some children become blind.
The group plans to meet every four years for more talks.
Tnen they will give their list to governments and other organizations, who can use it to mke plans for better world.
