This study aims to explore students ’opinions on elements affecting their learning performance in the course Phonetics. The participants were so forth-year English majors at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. The instrument used for collecting data was a questionnaire, and the statistical methods were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The finding were that respondents had positive opinions toward the course Phonetics. The mean scores were at a high to average level.
The implication of this study was that the learning and teaching of the course Phonetics so that it is more suitable to student in the content. The result was that students reacted positively to model and understand how to learn the course Phonetics.
